Kellersberger's First Camping Trip

Memorial Day Weekend 2011

The Kellersberger Campsite

Not much to look at but we had a great time.

Cooking/Grilling

Yummy pancakes and hot chocolate -
it always taste better when camping!

Cory has amazing cooking skills

He even amazed himself :)

After breakfast Cory and I conquered the mountain next to our campsite. We successfully navigated through brush up a 90 degree angle and made it to the top of the mountain.  We then hiked across a small valley to the hill next to us to get on a huge sand rock.

The romantic in Cory came out as he carved our itials into
the sand stone.....awe so cute!

Here is Cory with his completed work.  Great job, darling.

When we got back to camp Cory went back to work at chopping firewood. The nights were chilly so we burned up almost all of the wood we brought with us. We only had a little hachet for Cory to chop with so one more thing to add to the list of camping gear is an ax. Cory was very sore the next morning after chopping our firewood.

Here Cory is declaring "I am man....see my fire!"

Here are some of the beautiful sights surrounding our camp.

Even though we could not be in Arizona for Memorial Day weekend to attend the Leonard Hunt family reunion, Cory and I had a great time getting into the spirit of camping...
we can't wait for our next camping adventure!

  1. Aw, sex in the woods. Enjoy it while it's just you 2, once you have kids in the tent the romance dies. :)
