10, 11, 12, 13, 14, then 15 Weeks Old! Mommy is late with this posting!

Adaline has been steadily growing for the last two months. She weighted in on her 3 month birthday at 11 lbs 8 oz and 22 inches long. She is starting to figure out her hands. She really loves to pop her pacifier out of her mouth but struggles with getting it back in. We do reading time most days and sing primary songs together. She loves to make noises with her throat and likes looking at herself in her tummy time mirror. It has been very hot lately and we try to stay cool inside or at the library. Cory and I have been busy with our garden. We have some really big plants but not much in the way of fruit. I pray over our garden most days and hope that by fall we will have a harvest of pumpkins, squash, cucumbers, tomatoes, beats, onions, and bell peppers. Adaline loves to go out in the yard with mom and water the plants. She is really starting to notice the world around her. Sleeping in her swing is a daily occurrence, I think she loves how comfortable it is and that she can stay in the same room with mommy.

Cory, Adaline, Grandma Kellersberger, and I went down to St. George to visit Grandma parents, Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa Ross. We scanned pictures in their home and interview them to collect their life stores. We also interview Grandma to get some of her story down as well and Cory even recorded some memories about his mission. We purchase a voice recorder that allows you to download the sound file right to your computer. It is great because then we can share these with everyone and then there is not just one copy of the record.

We took a break from scanning and interviewing to go swimming in the community pool. Adaline loves to go swimming. She is a little bit of a Diva with her outfits but it is so cute to dress her up.

She kicks and splashes in the water. Daddy and Grandma had a really great time cooling off with little girl.

We left Sunday morning to head back home, Cory was to be set apart in his new calling in the Elder's Corrium Presidency so we need to get back for Priesthood Meeting. We had a wonderful time visiting and hearing the wonderful stories of Grandma and Grandpa Ross. We look forward to our next visit.

Little girl has been growing so she often get exhausted. Here she is sleeping in front of her mirror. I had to take this shot because she will often lay her arm over her eyes to block out the world. It is so cute because she will often open one eye and peek up at me with a look that says it all.

In July we had the Kellersberger Family Reunion in West Jordan Utah. This is the posterity of Nora and Jacob Kellersberger. I worked with Aunt Bev Kellersberger on finishing a book on the Nora's Merritt side of the family. It was a big project. I edited over 200 pages of manuscript and then assisted Aunt Bev with publishing. Even though it was an enormous task I learned so much about this side of our family. Adaline and our children will have wonderful stores to learn from about these courageous ancestors. I am currently working on a Book of Stores: The Kellersberger and Merritt Families, which includes stores from both Nora and Jack's side of the family. There are some really incredible stores that will be included in this book. I am also putting together a Book of Stores: The Brewer and Hunt Families. I hope to include stores from both sides of my family into it. I hope to get these projects done within the next year.

 Here is our family shot.

Adaline had a really great time with all of her cousins. They thought she was so cute and loved holding her.

Aunt Haley, Uncle Colby, Daddy, and Adaline....just chilling in the shade.

Cory and I have been hiking to get Cory in shape to hike Timpanogos in August. The hike of Mt Temp is 6 miles up and 6 miles back at an incline of 45degrees plus. So we have been hiking Y Mountain twice a week. Here is our first time up to the Y. We went with Grandpa Kellersberger, Haley, and Randy. Little girl stayed home with Grandma Kellersberger because we did not know how bad it would be. Here we are at a sign we saw after we had sat on the Y for about a half hour. Uh ho.

For the 4th of July we went to the Provo, Utah parade. It was held on University Ave and Cory and I went at 6:30 am to save a seat for the parade. There were thousand of people there and clear down the street people were sitting 6 rows deep to watch the parade.

Here is Daddy holding his little fire craker!

Then he took a picture of Mommy and Little Girl in our matching sun hats. Thank heavens we remembered them because it was so hot and warm in the sun.

Kelsie and Kayson came to watch the parade with us.

Happy 4th of July 2012.

Our Family Pic - just after the parade got over.

Grandpa, Grandma, Haley, and Randy also joined us to watch the parade....here is our family pic to show how much fun we all had.

Later that night around 6 pm we had a barbeque at our house. Grandpa, Grandma, Colby, Haley, and Randy came over to have hot dogs, hamburgers, and yummy salads. We had Grandma Brewers wonderful pink salad and Grandma Kellersberger brought her yummy fruit pudding salad. We stuff ourselves. Then we headed over to watch the fireworks from Cory's work.

Here we are sitting in the Larry Miller Chevrolet dealership getting ready to watch the fireworks.

Kelsie, Jonny, and Kayson came to be with us as we watched the fireworks.

Everyone chatting before the big show starts.

Adaline was so tired from all the activities that she slept a long time the next day. It was raining and cold so mommy dressed her up in a nice warm out that Aunt Bridgette had given her.

I had painted Adaline's toes for the 4th and wanted to show them off. I had forgotten to take a picture of her toes on the 4th so I took on the next day. Cory and I had to wait until she was passed out then with Cory holding the bottle and me holding the brush we were able to get her toenails painted. Everyone thought they were so cute and we had fun doing it together while little girl slept.

Here you see how little girl is starting to figure out her hands. She was holding her hand together and I thought is was a really cute pictures so I had a get a shot or two.

On July 13, Aunt Mischa arrive to spend two, whole weeks with us. Little girl and mommy were so excited. We went and got Mischa from the airport then we head over to the City Creek Mall to meet up with the Kellersbergers to celebrate Uncle Colby's birthday. We had dinner at the Blue Lemon and then we walked around the mall center for a little while. They had a water fountain show that was set to music. It was so cool to see.
Here is is little girl trying to eat Mischa's ear.
Mischie, Little Girl, and Mommy posing for a picture in front of the fountain.
Daddy and little girl like to play together. I can tell they are going to have a close and wonderful relationship. He is so good with her and he loves her so much. You see it in the way her interacts with her and also how he loves and cares for her.
Here is daddy making little girl giggle. She is starting to laugh and giggle at things we do. It is so fun to hear her make this funny sound. It just make you laugh every time you hear it.

After playing with Daddy little girl passed out again on the floor. I love this little outfit she is in. We call it her frog outfit. When she was littler she would tuck her legs up under her and she looked like a little frog perched on your chest, plus it is lime green and just looks adorable.
Adaline is developing so quickly. She is already starting to hold things and grab things. Here she is drink her water bottle and holding it all by herself.

Every Sunday Kayson, Jonny, and Kelsie join us for Family Home Evening. This Sunday we were at our house. Kayson and Adaline were playing on the floor and we had to get some pictures of them. Here you can see the differences in their size.
Kayson weights about 20 lbs and Adaline weights not quite 12 lbs.
Jonny sat them facing each other and again you can see the size difference between them.
They almost look like they are having a conversation.

Kayson was not happy and it was so cute to see Adaline reach out to him as you look at the next three pictures. Adaline reached out to Kayson as he started to fuss and ended up with her hand on his knee.

Kayson was not happy and just wanted to be left alone.

Then the cousins had some tummy time together and Kayson busted the move on Adaline and held her hand.

We are still hiking the Y about twice a week here some times that we have gone up the mountain and took pictures.

Kelsie and Jonny so cute!

The girls at the top

Oops we did not stay off it again

Another time

Funny... we are all so silly.

Daddy and his little girl at the top of the mountain.

Kayson, just chilling. On the way down the mountain he kept trying to reach out and grab something as he was bounced around down the trail. It was really cute to see.

We thought this was a really pretty sun set but the camera just could not capture the true colors that we saw.
Here is Mischa and Little Girl at Taco Time. We went to get Empinadas and visit with Miranda Torren, one of the girls in my Young Women's. We went with Mary Barney, Alyssa Minor, Tami and Mallory Christian. We all had a great time and the emipnadas were delicious.
Adaline is now 4 months old. She has grown so much but she still in very tiny. She is in the 8th percentile for her age. She weighs 11 lbs 15 oz and she is 23 3/4 inches long. She has not grown a ton in weight but she has grown in length almost two inches.
She is getting stronger and loves to sit up in our laps and in the chair. She really wants to walk because she really loves to stand in our laps as much as she can.
Sometime she pulls her headband down in front of her eyes.
Then she freaks out about or she plays with it. It is so funny to see her do this. Just playing with my headband mom!
