I was Seven Weeks old, Then Eight Weeks old, and Now Nine Weeks old – Officially 2 months!

Adaline had visitors for her baby blessings. Mischa came from Iraq to spend time with Adaline, Cory and I. We had a great time and then by the weekend the whole family had arrived. First Grandma & Grandpa Brewer, along with Great-Grandpa Hunt, arrived to my house before Mischa, Adaline, and I got back from Costco. Grandpa Brewer was so excited to meet Adaline. She instantly fell in love with him. Grandma was excited to see little girl again and commented on how big she had grown.
Then Bridgette and her family arrived followed by Rudger and Desi’s family. Jonny and Kelsie arrived as well. We then had a family dinner that Mischa cooked for all of us. She made a traditional Iraq meal for us to enjoy.  Vonda and David showed up around 10 pm and got to see Grandpa and Grandma Brewer. It was really great to see everyone and the weekend was just beginning.
The next day we all meet up at Adaline’s Utah baby shower. Her aunts helped get all of the food ready for the event. Then we went over to the church building’s pavilion to decorate and set up the food. We then partied with all who attended. Adaline received many wonderful and pretty gifts.

On Sunday, May 13, Adaline was blessed in church. Adaline had 17 people including her daddy. Daddy, Grandpa Brewer, Great-grandpa Hunt, Grandpa Kellersberger, Great-grandpa Ross, Uncle William, Uncle Rudger, Uncle David, Uncle Cody, Uncle Colby, Great-Uncle Bob, Great-Uncle David, Great-Uncle Ken, Great-Uncle Ken, Rick and Billy Pierce, and Caleb. Pretty much half the congregation went up on the stand for the blessing, so Adaline has a lot of people who love her and it is amazing that all of these people came so far to attend. She is one luck and loved little girl.
All day Sunday the family spent time together. We had a great time at the park and then we moved over to my home to spend more time together. We laughed and joked and had a wonderful time just making new memories and remembering old times.  That evening we all said goodbye until the next time and it could be many years until all of us are together again.

After the sacrament meeting the family moved over to the Orem City park to have a yummy luncheon prepared by Grandma Brewer, Vonda, Bridgette, Mischa, and Mommy. We had a really yummy cake that Grandma Kellersberger got for her.

After the party we all got together to take a family picture. It was kind of a circus but we got some really great shots and everyone was there. This picture was the first complete family picture we have had in over 5 years. Afterwards we went over to everyone’s hotel and went swimming with the kids. Adaline got into the pool for the first time with Mommy and Daddy in her cute little green swimming suite. She lasted about 5 minutes before she got too cold, so mommy took her out of the pool and got her snuggly warm with Mischa.

Kisses, kisses, kisses - he stole all her sugar!
Here Grandpa Brewer is again, stealing Adaline's sugar.
Great-Grandpa Hunt's saving kit. I thought this would make a really cool picture. I love all the hand tooled work on the case and the old style shaving cream and brush.

The next day Vonda and David wanted to take everyone to Mt. Tempanogos caves up American Fork canyon. We all went to the canyon and had a picnic. Then we went to the trail head. Grandpa Brewer and Great-Grandpa Hunt did not want to make the hike so Adaline stayed with them in the car. So Cory, David, Vonda, Kendra, Braydon, Gabriel, Mischa, Kelsie, Kayson, me and even Grandma Brewer made the hard, long journey up the side of the mountain. It was a challenging hike and some of us did not think we would make it. But we did and we got to see the inside of the caves. There was some pretty amazing stalagmite and stalagmites to see inside the cave. By the time we got to the bottom of the mountain all of us were pretty exhausted, except Mischa! We had dinner at a Mexican restaurant in American Fork and then made our way home. It was hard to say goodbye to Grandma and Grandpa Brewer and Great-Grandpa Hunt but we are excited to see them again soon. Mischa left the next day from the Salt Lake airport and it was hard to see her off but we are really excited for her visit in two months time.

The Whole Gang - sitting on a prickly log - Ouch!
The start of the long journey up the mountain. We all look pretty good....just wait!
Cory throwing gang signs and everyone taking the first of many breaks along the way
Half way up the trail.....can you see the fatigue starting to set in? Grandma could have turn back here but she kept trucking up that mountain side.
WOW....We all made it....Yeah for Grandma Kathy!
Inside the Temponogas Caves. Pretty scary when you turn off all the lights
But we saw some really cool stalagmites and stalactite along the way

Vonda and David did not leave for another day so on Tuesday morning, Kendra, Vonda, Mischa, and I went shopping before Mischa had to leave. Then when Adaline and I got back from the airport we all watched a movie and then had dinner.  It was hard saying goodbye again but we really enjoyed having everyone with us and we are really looking forward to the next time we all get together. We are really going to miss everyone!

 Sad that everyone is gone.
Daddy with his little girl - so cute
I think Adaline looks like a Star Wars character...every time a pull her little onezies over her head I get the thought. It is so cute but here she is not thinking it is too cute :(

Daddy and little girl sleeping the same way. Now I know where she get its.

Grandma and Grandpa Kellersberger like to come over about once a week to see her. She loves spending time with them and they do their best to spoil her.

Memorial Day Weekend - Daddy, Mommy, and Adaline went and had a picnic up Provo Canyon. The crazy weather in Utah can be unpredidatable and in this case it had dropped fresh snow the night before. So Adaline got to see it for the first time.

Here she is looking at a snowball for the first time. She wanted to throw it at Daddy but it was too heavy for her so I guess we will have to wait until this winter for her first snowball fight!
Here is little girl stuck in her favorite chair again. She really does not like her car chair!
We had a going away party for our friend, Manda and Ben Jumper. Here are the three debutantes of the party. They all fit into the bassinet but they would start to grab on to each other and invade each others space so they only lasted in it long enough for us to eat and visit for a little bit.

Well Adaline has been steadily gaining weight and is now a whapping 9 lbs 8 oz. She finally fit in her new born cloths and still is swimming in her 3 month old outfits. While at the doctor she received two shots one in each leg and all this on her two month birthday. Poor little girl did not like that and had tender legs for a couple of days.
Over all she did well at the doctors and we were happy that she did not have any really bad reactions to her immunization shots.
Little tired from her shots and needing some comfort

Daddy bought Adaline a swimming pool - here he is trying to pump it up with a very small foot pump....it took a really long time to get it all the way filled up.

Kelsie and Kayson came over to make a car chair cover for Kayson car seat and Kelsie had to hold both of them because each was crying. They ended up falling asleep in her arms. Then Adaline woke up and started to lick Kayson....he did not like that too much and tried to brush her off. Adaline thought Kayson tasted pretty good. It was hilarious to see and Kelsie and I had a pretty good laugh at the situation.

Cousin trying to figure each other out!

Here are some of the ways Adaline will sleep in her swing. Pretty cute!

For Father’s Day we all went Texas Road House for dinner. We had yummy steak and a great time with Haley, Grandpa and Grandma Kellersberger, and Mommy and Daddy. Adaline did really well in the restaurant and all got full on the great food there.

The next morning Adaline and I celebrated with Daddy Father’s Day. He got some really great presents. We gave him a family size Book of Mormon that allows us to write all of our blessing, sealing, confirmations, and family history. We are excited to place all of this great information about our family here. He also got a new pair of summer shorts and a few DVDs about WWII and Vietnam. It was a wonderful first Father’s Day for Cory.

Adaline cheered dad all the way through his present opening. She had a huge grin on her face
as she pumped her arms with the pompoms on her hands.
