Happy 4th of July!

4th of July 2013 was a day that was hot but full of fun for the Kellersberger Family. We started the day by sleeping in, something that daddy loved, and then we headed up the Provo Canyon for a drive to get out of the heat of the valley. We then had a family picnic at the Riverwoods on the grass near the Provo River. We had yummy peanut butter and honey sandwiches, along with orange soda (something little girl loved), cheese puff chips, pasta salad, and fruit salad.

Then we all went for a little stroll over Provo river via a bridge

Then we got down close to the river and put our feet into the water to cool off. It was very cold!
"Daddy, don't even think about putting me in that!"

Here is little girl drinking down the rest of her bottle from lunch as we made out way home from our picnic.

Later that afternoon we went swimming. Mommy had not check the public swimming pool to make sure it was open and when we got there the pool was closed....here we are thinking all our 4th of July swimming fun was in jeopardy of not happening at all when Uncle Randy saved the day. He invited the whole family to his parent's home to use their pool while they were out of town for the holiday. Adaline was grateful and mommy was relieved that we still got to cool off in the swim pool as it was almost 100 degrees.

Having fun with Haley, daddy, and mommy! Adaline is, of course, the center of the attention!

 Smile for the camera!

Then we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa Kellersberger's for a barbeque. We had yummy hamburgers, brats, fruit salad, and potato salad. For desert, mommy bought patriot cupcakes for everyone to share. Here is Adaline really enjoying her cupcake...well what did not end up on her face, that is!

Grandpa Kellersberger kept trying to get a picture of Adaline's face all covered in icing but she kept turning her head away each time he took the shot, daddy thought is was funny and had to take a picture of Grandpa trying once again to get the picture.

Then we headed over to Provo to watch the Stadium of Fire, fireworks display from Cory's work. Adaline did not get scared with the noise and lights and seemed to really enjoy the show.

Grandpa Kellersberger came along with us and Adaline and he had a great time together. Once again the 4th of July is over but it was a wonderful family time to spend together making memories. We look forward to many more memories.

  1. Love her smile while she's eating the cupcake! It's a gleeful smile like she knows she is lucky to be an American and born in the best country in the world!
