Crazy Life - Three Months Late

So.... it might not be an excuse but the Kellersberger family life has been really crazy since July. Cory received inspiration for our family to start looking for a home to purchase and we all know what goes into the that. So after fasting (on Cory's part because I was still pregnant) and serving in the temple and then praying separately in the celestial room at the Mount Temp Temple, Cory and I received the answer that yes we were to purchase a home.

So... we got a real estate agent, Staci Johnson, from Carriage Town Real Estate, and she helped us get started. Her family happened to be going to Lake Powell for the weekend and the whole next week. So she got us access to the MLS and in touch with a mortgage lender. We were pre-approved on Friday, Saturday we drove to Eagle Mountain and Saratoga Springs and looked at homes (just a little too far out there), Sunday we drove down to Santaquin. We happen (totally inspired) to be driving by and saw a for sale by owner home that we beautiful. We thought it had to be out of our price range, but we took the information down and got home to look it up on KSL.com to see what the price was....wouldn't you know, it was exactly what we could afford, crazy. We contacted our agent and she was able to arrange with her dad to look at the home for sale by owner and one other home on the same street. After looking at the other house, Cory and I walked into the for sale by owner home and we feel in love. We prayed about it and felt good about it and so made an offer on Tuesday, the offer was accepted on Wednesday. So less than a week after being pre-approved we were in contract on a home in Santaquin, Utah. Not where we thought we would end up but we know where were suppose to be here.

Our New Home

So... once the house closed (one week late) we were able to move in, but we had to be out of our rental in Orem in one weekend so Saturday at noon we got the keys to our new home and by Sunday evening we were moved in, mostly in the garage, but we had made it. Some of my friends from my old ward helped me get our rental all clean to receive our deposit back, because I was pregnant I really need the help, so it was much appreciated.

So... with the stress of the move and everything... I started having contractions 5 weeks early. Dr. Haskett had me be basically on bed rest to make sure I made it at least to 37 weeks. Once we were ready for Cordelia to be born she decided she liked it inside and did not make an appreance until I was 41 weeks. Dr. Haskett had to induce me with the entire time to get her born and on September 25, 2013 at 8:12 pm Cordelia Anne Kellersberger was born to very excited parents and her older sister.
