Not been feeling well

We have been going through some not so fun sick times the last few months. We got home from our New Years trip to Arizona and come down with Strep Throat, all of us had it!

Then we got colds with runny noses and fevers. Mommy got a UTI that was serious enough to send me to the emergency room, lucky it all went well and mommy got better with anti-biotic medication.

Then Adaline caught some virus that manifested it self in the form of, what I call, a leopard rash. It was so weird that I took a picture on my cell phone so I can reference to it if we get it again.

Then Adaline caught RSV. We not sure where she got this from. We are vitamin takers and so we are trying to do all in our power to not get sick but it just keeps happening. It might be that Adaline is getting it from nursery not sure how we are going to avoid the sicky bugs. Adaline ended up at the emergency room because she was having a really difficult time breathing, talk about a pretty scary time for mommy. I was really worried. Lucky they were able to give her breathing treatments at the emergency and sent us home with info on how to help her get through it. There is nothing that treats RSV you just have to get through it. So we tried to stay on top of her stuffy nose and keep her air ways clear with humidifiers and tylenol and ibprofen to keep her fever down.

Unfortunately when one child get RSV the likely hood that all will get it is high, so Cordelia ended up with RSV as well. So for about three straight weeks we slept with the humidifier and kept the medicine coming to get us all through it.

It was not fun to see the girls so sick and to keep their air ways clear Cory and I has some pretty sleep deprived nights. I think at one point with Adaline we only had three hours of sleep each night for three or four nights in a row. Then we had some more sleep deprived nights once Cordelia ended up with it.

In adults it manifest it self as really bad cold and because mommy was so tired and warn out with taking care of the girls, I ended up catching it as well. So for almost a month we were all sick or in the hospital. Lots of fun but we made it through not to much the worse for the wear but we are really excited about the coming of spring we are hoping to not get sick any more this winter, but we will see.
