Utah Symphony "The Polar Express"

Friday December 10, 2010

Cory and I attended the Utah Symphony production of the Polar Express with quest choir from West Jordan High School. It was a wonderful performance full of the Christmas spirit. With having gone to Music and the Spoken Word Sunday and this on Friday, Christmas feels like it is in full swing.

Cory and I love to dress up fancy for the event. We always have a wonderful time and try to make it a special treat going to the symphony.

We thought we would kiss for the “kissing cam”, jk. We were just feeling romantic and we happen to get it on film J

Salt Lake Temple view from the Symphony Hall and you can see the red glass sculpture in the Hall lobby. This is a Venetian sculpture and each piece of glass is carefully placed one on top of the other to create this incredible piece of art.

At the end of the concert Cory and I got a picture in front of the view.
Everyone should attend the symphony at least once a year because the power and the joy of the music is increased when you are able to hear incredible works, live.
